Welcome to the website of the Hwa Rang Do^® School of Jacksonville.

We're introducing a great new class this month! Follow this link to read our newsletter article on Hwa Rang Do for Seniors. This class is open to all people who need to increase flexibility, strength, and ease of motion. The workout is low impact, it involves gentle movement without stress. We are honored to introduce Florida's First Coast to the original Korean Martial Art of Nobility. Hwa Rang Do is the most comprehensive martial art system in the world, the art of unlimited possibilities. No other art can match its versatility. Hwa Rang Do does not incorporate material from other martial arts, because we don't need to.

This Art was made to unify a nation, is based in self-defense and honor, and can help you achieve all you can imagine.

Join us in welcoming the second Hwa Rang Do instructor to the Jacksonville dojang. SaBum Nim Bret Spoehr has joined us from Tallahassee, where he has been head instructor of the HRD/TSD Club of Florida State. SaBum Nim Spoehr graduated in August, and now will teach here in Mandarin and Julington Creek.

Now with two 3rd Dan degree Hwa Rang Do Black Sash instructors, the students of the Jacksonville school will have 21 years worth of teaching experience to draw upon; it is great to have Inst. Spoehr with us!
